Obituary of Laurie Schmall

Laurie Schmall, 80, of Lake Alfred passed away on April 25, 2023. Born in Chicago, Illinois to James and Helen Lupo.  

Laurie was a resident of Florida off and on for many years until she and her husband decided they didn’t like dealing with the snow any longer and called Florida their home. Laurie was a waitress for over 35 years enjoying serving people in her community. Laurie was a Disney fan, evening working there for a few years. Laurie enjoyed her flowers, and you could always catch her outside tending to them as much as she could. Laurie enjoyed being outdoors and loved to go shopping.  

Laurie is preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Lupo. She is survived by her husband, Edward; daughters, Sherri (Marty) Busch, Julie (Jeffrey) Giernoth; stepdaughters, Elizabeth (Gary) Middleton, Julie (Kraig) Grell; stepson, Marlin (Dawn) Schmall; several grand and great grandchildren. She touched many hearts and will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
