Obituary of Dorothy Irene Stem

Dorothy Irene Stem 95 of Winter Haven passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at the Spring Lake Rehabilitation Center in Winter Haven. She was a native of Goshen Center, Ohio and moved to the area in 1969 with her husband Daniel. Dorothy was of the Catholic Faith and worked for the Polk County School Board where she retired as a Secretary with 20 plus years of service. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she will be dearly missed. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of thirty five years Daniel Stem. She is survived by two daughters Pamela Meissner (Eric) and Nancy Nevins (David). Three grandchildren Aaron Meissner (Amy), Jessica Rankin (Lee) and David Nevins Jr. Six great-grandchildren Madelyn, Stella, River, Lake, Jaxon and Zach. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 21st from 1-2pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care of Winter Haven with Chapel Services starting at 2pm. Burial will follow immediately after at Lakeside Memorial Park in Winter Haven.
