Obituary of Linda Caudill

Linda Caudill, 74, of Lake Wales, Florida passed into eternal rest on Monday, December 26, 2022.

She was born on Wednesday, May 19, 1948, in Braffetsville, Ohio to Kenneth E. and Betty J. Hunt Anderson. Linda and her family moved to Polk County, Florida in November of 1985, coming from Indiana. After arriving in Polk County, she worked some time as a bookkeeper for Douglas Construction and World Children Home Society, before deciding to stay at home and open her own business where she would offer her skills as a bookkeeper and tax preparer, she had quite the clientele. One of the greatest things she loved working from home was being able to watch her grandchildren as their parents went to work, she so loved her family, she truly considered this a gift. Linda attended Dundee United Methodist Church and for a while she led the outreach committee, the family remembers fondly assisting her in delivering the basket for families unable to get to church. She and her husband loved to travel and go camping as well as she loved to cook for her family get togethers.

Linda is predeceased by her father, Kenneth, and husband, Paul R. Caudill. She is survived by her mother, Betty J. Anderson; daughter Melissa Giffin and her husband, Terry of Lake Wales; son, Kent Caudill and his wife, Chris of Winter Haven, Florida; step-grandchild, Christy Ellis and her husband, Travis; grandchildren, Todd Giffin, Dustin Giffin, Kaley Caudill, Kent Caudill, Jr.; great granddaughter, Zoei Giffin; step- great granddaughter, Katherine Ellis; Aunt, Janice Anderson as well as close cousins, Joyce Bright, Carol Thompson and her husband, Jay, Mark Anderson and his wife, Leah, Brian Anderson and his wife, Sharon and Cathy Anderson Corn and her husband, Alan.

A visitation will be Friday, December 30, 2022, from 2:00 pm until the funeral at 3:00 pm, all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City, Florida. Internment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City.
