Obituary of Dorothy M. Morris

Dorothy Mae Morris, 86, of Lake Alfred, FL passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022, at the Good Shepherd Hospice Forsythe Hospice House in Auburndale.
Born December 26, 1935, in Pelham, GA to John and Ruby Heath Butler, she moved to Florida in 1950.  She was a longtime cashier for Winn Dixie and a member of Graceway Community Church in Winter Haven.
She was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Whitten.

She is survived by her husband of 21 years, James L. Morris; a grandson, Eugene Whitten; and Great granddaughter, Elora Whitten; two stepdaughters, Elizabeth Porter and her husband Thomas and Sabrina Baggett and her husband Donnie; a stepson, Grady Walker and his wife Barbara.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm till 2:00pm, Monday, November 21, 2022 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven, FL.  Funeral Services will be at 2:00pm with interment following at Auburndale Memorial Park.
