This is Eddie, Paul's daughter. I want everyone to know what a wonderful father my dad was. He always took good care of his family. He was a wonderful provider. He would always make people laugh. I am missing him so much. It is hard to shut my brain off. I am what I am because of him.
He taught me to be strong and take up for the weak. He gave me encouragement when I went back to college in my 50's. I admit, he was a great fisherman. He could never understand why I would not put the worm on the hook (gross) or take the fish off the hook once I caught it (afraid). But at least I caught the fish (LOL).
Most of the people who knew him are putting the obituary on their facebook page but I just wanted people to know how much I loved my father.

The best memories I have of my grandpa is the days he took me fishing when I visited with him and grandma in Sacramento. I remember vividly driving up this beautiful mountain covered in trees, near the top there was this long bridge that you would see people fishing off that would go over to another mountain, you'd then drive down that mountain to the very bottom and follow a path until you reached a lake. I remember there was a long pier off that lake, I would take bits of line that I'd find on the shore and discarded hooks and catch blue gill that would bite without any worms. If I caught any I'd take them to my grandpa to have him remove the hook and throw it back into the water. Grandpa would fish off the end of the pier catching the rainbow trout that we'd eat that night. I would give anything to fish there one more time...
